- 75 square metres (807 sq ft) and is eight metres (26ft) high
ESTEVÃO SILVA DA CONCEIÇÃO decided to build a house for his family of four. He created a structure that may look more like a sculpture than a house. Every surface, inside and out, is covered in mosaic materials. We don't just mean little pieces of glass tiles, but almost anything you might find about - like dishes and pots and old cell phones and buttons. It is so interesting to see.
What is even more interesting perhaps, is that it looks very similar to the work of Antonio Gaudi of Spain back in the early 1900's. But this artist/builder had never heard of him.
It is almost like he is a descendent of Gaudi and has carried on Gaudi's traditions of curving forms and decorative surfaces.
