Buildings that Rock and ROLL!

We saw these "Rolling Huts" and we thought they were so neat! They reminded us of some sort of building in the future that we would roll around with us, very slowly, as we move from place to place, discovering new ideas and locations throughout the country!

They were designed by a Seattle-based architecture firm called Olson Sundberg Kundig Allen Architects (whose name might be longer than one of those rolling huts!)

Roald Dahl , author of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, as well as our favorite, The Vicar of Nibbleswick, used to do all of his writing in a hut.

A hut is a simple building. These rolling huts are not so simple when you look inside and see how beautiful and finished they are. Wouldn't it be great to have one in your yard as a playroom!
