The Colorful World of Mr. Magorium's Emporium
We don't know if you got to see this movie, but we think that the architecture of the shop where the walls start to mold from sadness and where colors are brighter than real life until they turn all grey...makes it worth seeing.

Some people might think it is JUST a little kids movie, but we thought the sets were worth watching with the rainbow colored railings and kites hanging all around. (Hey, that use of the word JUST is an inside joke for anyone who sees the movie.
We just watched this video at archKIDecture and we were so impressed with the spaces that were created for the film. The colors were luscious and so vivid, the feeling of HUGENESS in the small shop, the wonder of how a place can make you feel so different.
WE wish there was a shop like that where we could hang out.
Let us know if the space was interesting to you too and tell us about your favorite spot of architecture in the world.
