The Flexlove couch
This
couch is made of cardboard! It can be as small as a single chair and and
as wide as a couch for 16 people. It is made of recycled cardboard and it
only weighs 55 pounds, so it is pretty light, compared to a regular couch.
It is called the Flexible Love Couch, but I am not sure if it is a comfy couch for relaxing with loved ones, but moreover a great place to sit.
We
first learned about it from a link to the video, where you can see the designer "play"
with the couch, and make it a chair, and a couch and an loveseat, in just
a matter of a minute.
What a great idea to have a single piece of furniture that is made of recycled materials and which can become so many different pieces of furniture.
They cost around 300 -450 dollars, so they are not cheap, but an interesting alternative to traditional furniture.
It must be like sitting on a slinky.
